Mom Hack

Wash plastic toys and flip-flops in the dishwasher

Mom Hack

Skip the hassle of scrubbing each toy or flip-flop by hand—use your dishwasher instead!

Load small plastic toys, flip-flops, and even bath toys onto the top rack.

Use a mild detergent and run a short, gentle cycle with no heat drying to prevent warping.

You can also place smaller toys in a mesh laundry bag to keep them from getting lost.

After washing, lay them out on a clean towel to air dry.

Everyone cleans their clothes and dishes regularly but when was the last time you actually made sure that the appliance responsible for doing the cleaning was clean itself?

Featured Response 💬

“It’s less about the number and more about their maturity and temperament. I want to know that my son has the self control to use the Internet and apps safely, and that he has the social skills to communicate in person not rely on social media. I also want to instill a love of nature and an ability to tolerate boredom/find creativity, and will foster those before he can navigate the virtual world at his fingertips.”

I love how you’re prioritizing your son's maturity and real-world skills over a specific age—that balance between tech and nature is so important for our kids! - Danielle 😊
