Featured Response 💬
“My partner and I have tried to be very intentional about discussing our families dynamics, what we value about them, and what patterns we don't want to repeat. We have the occasional disagreement but can usually find a good solution we're both comfortable with. And we like to laugh over when one or the other of us changes our mind about a particular approach.”
It sounds like you and your partner have a great approach—intentional conversations and a bit of humor can really make all the difference when navigating parenting together! - Danielle 😊

Homemade Chicken Nuggets with Sweet Potato 🍗🍠
yummytoddlerfood
Today, we're going to upgrade the classic chicken nuggets we all love, into a health-packed and flavor-filled dinner, that not just the kids, but the entire family will drool over.
Why You’ll Love It
🍠 Sweet potatoes add a natural sweetness and a boost of vitamins.
🍗 Easy to prepare using ground chicken for minimal fuss.
👶 Perfectly soft for toddlers, with a light crisp on the outside.
Ingredients 📝
1 pound ground chicken
1 cup mashed sweet potato (or fully cooked and cubed sweet potato)
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp onion powder (optional; you could also add garlic powder or dried oregano)
½ cup regular or panko style breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-flavored)
Instructions 👩🍳
Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mash together chicken, sweet potato, salt, and onion powder in a bowl.
Shape into nuggets, coat in bread crumbs, and place on the baking sheet.
Bake for 22-24 minutes until golden brown.

Notes 📌
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat for 6-8 minutes in the oven at 375 degrees F or for about 15-30 seconds in the microwave. (They will crisp up in the oven and be soft when reheated in the microwave.)
Cook the sweet potato ahead of time so it has a chance to cool. You can either roast it in the oven or steam it in a pot.
You can use traditional breadcrumbs or panko-style. Panko will make the exterior a little crunchier.
You can omit the salt if making these for a baby.
So, there you have it - a super simple, nutritious recipe that doesn't demand you to be a MasterChef.
