You almost never forget your wallet, so it’s an easy way to stay ready for anything.

If you can, add a tiny alcohol wipe to clean up small cuts. It’s super small but really helpful in a pinch.

🍪 The BEST Chocolate Chip Cookies: A Timeless Treat!

There's nothing like perfecting a chocolate chip cookie recipe, and this one's a winner.

Ingredients 📝

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 2 1/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chunks

Instructions 👩‍🍳

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (4-5 minutes).

  3. Add eggs one at a time and vanilla extract, mixing for 1 minute.

  4. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt, and gradually mix into the butter mixture.

  5. Fold in chocolate chunks.

  6. Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet.

  7. Bake for 12 minutes.

  8. Slap the cookies on the counter after baking for a flatter, crispier texture.

  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
