Rule the Roost: Your Home-Based Franchise Guide
Ever dreamt of being your own boss while still rocking the mom gig? Let's talk about home-based franchises.
Consider a Franchise
Rather than starting from scratch, franchises offer a proven system, marketing strategies, brand recognition, and training.
Home-based franchises bring even more perks! Low start-up costs, fewer employees, no rent – sounds great, right?
Research various franchises to find one that aligns with your interests and skills.
You will be much more motivated to succeed if you choose a franchise in a field you're passionate about.
Also, reach out to existing franchisees to gain insights into the franchise system and their experiences
Understand What a Franchise Isn't
Despite the support, remember it's not a 'business in a box'. It still requires your effort to set up and run. But hey, who runs the world? Moms!
Remember, you will still have to adhere to certain franchise standards and rules.
Make sure you understand these before signing any agreement, as you may not have as much autonomy as you might with your own standalone business.
Types of Home-Based Franchises
Get ready for a buffet of options! Mobile franchises (like vending machines) can bring products to homes and businesses.
Service franchises, like home decor, involve providing specific services. Love kids? Look into child-related franchises that provide after-school programs or art classes.
"Home-based franchises have even more advantages...startup costs and operational costs are usually way less than franchise businesses that require a commercial space."
Investment
Don't fret! You don't need to be a millionaire.
Most home-based franchises range from $50,000-$100,000, including the franchise fee, training, software, marketing, and working capital.
But remember, the initial investment is only part of the total cost.
Make sure to factor in ongoing costs such as franchise fees, inventory, equipment, marketing, and possibly even insurance.
Wrap-up
Success won't come overnight. Be patient and persistent, you’ll get there.
In the words of a wise woman, "Who says you can't have it all?"
With some homework and gusto, you can be the boss of your own home-based franchise while continuing to reign as the world's best mom!

Instructions 👩🍳
Dust off that food processor and blend your oats into a fine powder.
Toss in the banana, coconut oil, and cinnamon. Pulse until you have a beautiful, moldable dough.
Shape 'em up! Roll your dough into 12 baby-sized batons. Keep them soft, rounded, and about 1-inch thick.
Place your biscuit batons on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, then flip 'em and bake for another 5-10 minutes.
Let them cool before serving, and remember: you can freeze these little lifesavers for those unexpected tooth eruptions!
