Mom Hack

Make snack time stress-free and budget-friendly by prepping your own travel-friendly snack packs!

  • Get kids involved by letting them decorate paper snack bags with stickers or drawings. This makes them excited about their snacks.

  • Mix it up with a variety of store-bought and homemade options: trail mix, pretzels, string cheese, cut-up fruit, or even DIY granola bars.

  • Use portion-sized bags or containers to avoid spills and messes while on the road.

Not only does this save money, but it also keeps little tummies happy and road trips a bit more peaceful.

Together with Platoon Kids

The Winter Wiggles Uniform

If your kid is in their independent era, this is a fun little way to lean into it.

Platoon Kids has super cute iron-on patches that let kids show a bit of personality without needing an entire new wardrobe.

Add one to a backpack, a hoodie, or their favorite jacket and suddenly they’re proud of what they’re wearing.

It’s a small thing that can makes mornings feel a little easier. 😊

Their Movin’ N’ Groovin’ tee is another easy choice when you just need something comfy but still fun.

And if winter wiggles are hitting, highly recommend their new release, “Teddy Bear” by Beppie.

It’s a rock-style kids song made for dancing out that cabin-fever energy. 🧸🎸

Featured Response 💬

“It’s seriously depends on the type of tantrum, if you’re screaming because you’re not getting your way then I’m not going to listen to it and I’m going to ignore it, if you’re throwing a tantrum because you got hurt or something, I’m gonna console you. Sometimes tantrums do warrant a timeout. I believe it honestly all depends upon the situation and what’s proceeding the tantrum in order to effectively deal with it after the tantrum has started.”

Totally agree. It’s all about reading the moment and figuring out what’s really behind the meltdown. -Danielle 😊
