Featured Response 💬

“We drive a car most days but we live close enough to walk occasionally (~1.5 miles). When the weather is nice I try to make a point of walking with her at least once a week or every day if I can. Walking is always more fun as we get to enjoy nature and have fun together. It's great quality time. And added bonus, she sleeps better at the end of the day. We're about to move and the biggest advantage is we will be closer and able to walking every day (only about half a mile).”

That sounds wonderful! The move will be such a great change—daily walks together, more nature, and all that bonus sleep is a win-win! -Danielle 😊

Banana-PB Roll-Ups: Snack Win! 🍌🥜

Source: weelicious

You know how life gets crazy and suddenly, it’s 3 pm, and your kids are about to turn into tiny hangry monsters?

Don’t stress, because I've got your back with this no-fuss, "kids-are-finally-quiet" snack. 🤫

Why You’ll Love It:

  • 🍌 Takes just 2 minutes to prepare!

  • 🥜 A nutritious, portable snack that kids can eat with their hands.

📝 Ingredients

  • 2 bananas, peeled

  • 1/4 cup peanut butter, divided (or almond or sunflower butter)

  • 2 tortillas

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Lay a tortilla flat and spread 2 tbsp of peanut butter to coat it evenly.

  2. Place a peeled banana near the edge of your tortilla.

  3. Roll that bad boy up!

  4. Cut into 1/2 inch rounds and serve 'em up.

Note: If your tortilla is stiff, pop it in the microwave between two moist paper towels for 15-20 seconds. Voilà, problem solved!

📌 Note

  • This recipe is versatile! Swap out the peanut butter for almond or sunflower butter if you like.

  • You can also switch up the tortillas. Go for whole wheat, white, or even one with seeds. Just make sure it's flexible, not like your toddler’s willingness to put on shoes. 🤣

A snack so easy, you can even prepare it with one eye on the kids and the other on your ever-growing laundry pile.
