Mom Hack

Have an old shower curtain?

Here's a fun idea: Transform them into a makeshift art smock for your kiddo!

Simply cut out a big rectangle (big enough to cover your child's outfit) and pop a hole in the top for their head.

Then snip a strip from the remaining curtain and use it as a belt.

Perfect for those messy paint days!

Mother's Day Is This Weekend

My little one’s routine this morning :)

My 3-year-old has his own morning routine he actually looks forward to.

Brush teeth.
Eat breakfast.
Get dressed.

He checks each one off on our Skylight himself, using little emoji icons he can follow.

And honestly? He's proud of himself every time.

That's the part I didn't expect. It's not just a family calendar. It's teaching him independence. At three.

Morning routines. Evening routines. Meal planning. Grocery lists. It does so much. But watching my toddler feel proud of himself? That's the part that got me.

If you've been thinking about it, Skylight's Mother's Day timing is almost up.🤍

Featured Response 💬

“My son is homeschooled, so technology is a big learning tool for him. However, we don't like to rely solely on computers so he uses a mix of online learning and physical curriculum (workbooks). We use computers for videos, tutoring, etc and workbooks for assignments, demonstrating an understanding, and practicing.”

That split makes so much sense, screens help for soaking it in and use workbooks for showing what he's got down. -Danielle 😊
