Mom Hack

Mom Hack

One stroke of pure mom-genius involves transforming a fitted sheet into a sand-free play zone at the beach.

Stake the corners with bags, coolers, or beach toys to create a barrier against the sand.

Add a few toys and snacks, and your little one can enjoy a mess-free space to play.

For added comfort, lay a picnic blanket or towel inside the sheet.

Bring a small umbrella or sunshade for extra protection from the sun, and keep a spray bottle of water handy to cool off hot little feet.

“We are managing about once every 2 or 3 months right now. Between prep for the next day, house chores, night school, and trying to find a babysitter, it's been difficult to coordinate. But we try to take an hour for a show or board games every week or so in between other commitments.”
