Mom Hack

Toddlers, right?

One minute they’re obsessed with a toy, and the next, it’s totally forgotten.

Enter the magic of toy rotation!

Split toys into a few groups and store most of them away—bins, totes, whatever works for you.

Every couple of weeks, swap out the toys. Watch their faces light up as they rediscover what feels new and exciting.

Bonus? Less clutter in the play area means less stress for you.

Want an extra trick?

Create a special “rainy day” bin for those moments when boredom strikes.

Fewer toys out at once, more focused play, and a home that feels more organized.

Win-win!

Featured Response 💬

“This is my very quick equivalent of morning paper with coffee. I can skim through while my screeching terrorist is tearing his way through the house first thing in the morning. Sometimes I can go back and read, and sometimes I'm flying across the room to save him from his new "snack", and I only have one child. Props to you SAHMs with multiple children. I can't wrap my head around that one just yet. ”

📌 Note

  • If you're not a fan of seeds, just push your puree through a fine mesh sieve.

DIY Bath Bombs

abeautifulmess.com

These easy bath bombs make bath time so much more fun, and they smell amazing!

  1. Combine baking soda, cornstarch, citric acid, and Epsom salt in a bowl and whisk to remove clumps.

  2. Melt coconut or olive oil (if needed) and mix with water, essential oils, and food coloring in a small jar.

  3. Slowly pour the liquids into the dry mix, whisking as you go to avoid fizzing.

  4. Squeeze the mixture in your hand to check if it holds; if not, add a touch more water.

  5. Pack each side of a bath bomb mold until slightly overflowing, press together, and gently remove one side.

  6. Let dry one hour before removing fully, then dry overnight.

These make thoughtful gifts or a special treat for yourself. 😊
