Ingredients 📝
16 ounces refried beans
1 (1.25 ounce) taco seasoning mix
1 cup sour cream (divided)
1 cup salsa
1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese
2 Roma tomatoes (diced)
5 green onions
3 ounces sliced olives (drained)
1 cup guacamole
11-ounce bag of tortilla chips
Instructions 👩🍳
Mix it up: Combine the taco seasoning with the refried beans in a small bowl.
Lay the Foundation: Spread this bean mixture evenly on an 11-inch plate, getting it all nice and close to the edge.
Sour Cream Splash: Slather ¾ cup of sour cream over the bean mix.
Salsa Shimmy: Gently layer your salsa over the sour cream. (Psst! If it’s watery, drain a bit first.)
Guac it Out: Daintily dot guacamole on top of salsa, then spread carefully.
Cheese, Please: Sprinkle that shredded Colby Jack around the plate edge.
Veggie Vibes: Top the cheese with your sliced olives, diced tomatoes, and green onions.
Web Wizardry: Put the remaining ¼ cup of sour cream in a Ziploc, snip the corner, and squeeze a spider web pattern on the guacamole.
Final Touch: Place some plastic spiders to make it extra spooky.
Pro Tips 📌
Fresh Factor: Make this an hour before the party to keep that guac green.
Guacamole Guard: Need to make it earlier? Brush a thin layer of lime juice over the guacamole.
