These jalapeno popper mummies are the perfect Halloween treat for moms looking to bring some fun to the table.
Not only are they adorable, but they're packed with cheesy goodness and a hint of spice that can be adjusted to your preference!
📝 Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
8 oz Monterey jack cheese, shredded
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
10 jalapenos, sliced in half lengthwise & seeds removed
12 oz Pillsbury crescent rolls
1 egg (for egg wash, mixed with 1 Tbsp water)
40 small candy eyeballs (or sliced olives)
👩🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F and prepare baking tray.
Mix cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and seasonings.
Fill jalapeno halves with cheese mixture.
Prepare crescent roll dough and cut into strips.
Wrap jalapenos with dough strips, ensuring space for eyes.
Brush with egg wash and bake for 12 minutes.
Add candy eyeballs immediately after baking. Serve warm.
